Bus Stop Pre-School and Forest School

Fees and Funding

Fees

Fees are calculated on a termly basis and are payable monthly.

We charge a daily rate of £70.00 for a full day, per child (reviewed annually). This is a rate of £10.00 per hour.
The daily rate charge includes all a child’s meals, snacks, drinks, nappies, wipes, other consumables, all-weather clothing, Forest School, trips and additional extended curriculum activities such as Music & Movement.
The daily rate is applicable to children not eligible for the government's Early Years Entitlement funding or if a child attends hours above their funding entitlement.

Funding

All funded children can access up to 7 funded hours per day. Our Pre-School is open 9am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday.

We are able to offer places under the Governments 15 hours Universal Early Years Funding Entitlement. Once your child begins the full term after their third Birthday, they will be eligible for Universal Early Years Funding Entitlement. This qualifies your child for up to 15 funded hours a week at Pre-School.

We also offer places to eligible working families under the Governments 30 hours funding scheme for 2 to 4 year olds. Please visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to see whether you are eligible for 30 or 15 hours and to find out about tax-free childcare.

For families claiming the 15 hours or the 30 hours Early Years Entitlement funding, they will be charged the parent voluntary contribution fee.

Parent Voluntary Contribution fee - Funded early education funding is considered a funded place and the Pre-School receives funding, however, the funding is not expected to cover meals/snacks/refreshments/consumables, all-weather clothing, forest school, trips and extended curriculum activities. Therefore, this means that the government does not fund these, and so to be able to offer these to every child, we charge £35 per day, which covers the cost of the above.

Please see the table below showing the weekly parent contribution calculator and what is included:
(If viewing this table on a mobile, please scroll to the bottom of the page).
